Theresa Ketchum Fish

Mental Health Counselor

Behavioral Health

Theresa values holding space for others. While the painful parts of life can often leave us feeling powerless and alone, she wants you to know you do not have to be. She is honored to be with you and if she is not the right fit for you, she is dedicated to help you find someone who is. She practices a person-centered approach to counseling which allows people to move through their life’s experiences at their own pace and in ways that are meaningful to them. She is trained as a generalist and provides therapeutic support to people of all ages and backgrounds. She has experience working with people who experience symptoms related to anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, trauma, and dissociation.

Theresa is passionate about helping people build strong relationships with others and within their own person. She has specialties in Filial Therapy (Family therapy with children under the age of 12), EMDR (certified EMDR therapist), and somatic ego State Interventions and parts work.

She enjoys time with animals, time outdoors, and time with family. She loves early mornings when the day is new and quiet. She loves the first sip of hot coffee and the sound of ice breaking up on the lake.

Over the years she has worked in the fields of environmental education, outdoor recreation, and outdoor/recreation therapy. Since she received her master’s degree in community counseling, she has spent the past 12 + years working in a clinical setting.
