It's never boring! The fields of Diabetes Education and Nutrition are constantly evolving. There is always a new medication or new technology to learn. It can be overwhelming for both patients and the clinical staff. But, my job is to help navigate the changing tide to better health. I do not have a One-Size-Fits-All approach. I believe healthcare should be individualized. Insurance is the bane of my existence. I strive to optimize care by utilizing any and all resources.

I am originally from Mellen, Wisconsin.  I started school there.  I moved to Ironwood as a teenager and graduated from Luther L. Wright.  I continued on to college. I became a Registered Dietitian in 2000.  I have had several jobs over the past 2 decades.  I still love what I do!
