I have called the Chequamegon Bay area home since 2003. I enjoy many hobbies and love to do a variety of activities outdoors and indoors each season. A few of my favorite hobbies include snow sports, swimming, cooking, reading, and playing games. I also coach some youth sports, including soccer, and help with the CANSKI program.
Mental health counseling is one of many pathways to support healing and wellbeing and I love that clinical social work is both client-centered and also takes a person-in-environment perspective.
Experience
Prior to starting at the Bad River Health and Wellness Center, I worked for Ashland County from 2011 until the spring of 2023. As part of my employment, I was involved with the Ashland County Wellness and Recovery Court program for eight years. Prior to that, I worked with the Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment program along with the Juvenile Drug Court Program.
