Open Position

The primary duties of the Behavioral Health Counselor are to work with clients in the prevention, treatment, and recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. The Behavioral Health Counselor will be the advocate for this group of patients and coordinate organizational activities and resources to address gaps in services. This position will have a focus on working with youth and families around truancy and other referrals through Bad River partners, such as Social Services, JOM (Johnson-O’Malley) committee, Boys and Girls Club, Head Start. They will also work closely with the School District of Ashland.
